Marble Market Exchange

Teacher Robert created Marble Market Exchange to inspire children to practise English in everyday conversations with teachers and friends.

During this summer activity, children earned marbles for using vocabulary and pronouncing English words correctly. They collected the marbles and later exchanged them for items at the market.

When the market opened, children chose snacks with their marbles and joined Teacher Robert in making fruit jelly. The jelly did not set as expected, turning the experiment into a moment of suspense, laughter and discovery.

Children continued to save their marbles while Teacher Robert prepared further surprises and challenges, giving them goals to work towards as they developed their abilities.
