LEARNING AT KONGFA

Learning begins
with the child.

Questions, interests and real experiences make learning meaningful. At Kongfa, we believe in the potential of every child and make room for thinking and doing.

Different minds, different strengths

The diagram presents eight areas of intelligence: language, logic and mathematics, nature, movement, visual and spatial thinking, music, relationships with others, and understanding oneself.

Active learning, cooperation, analysis, constructing understanding and applying ideas connect these strengths with happy learning. The child takes an active role in discovery, supported by teachers, play, trust, inspiration and project experiences.

REGGIO PROJECT APPROACH

Following an interest.
Taking learning further.

The school adapts the Reggio Project Approach, connecting areas of learning through projects and experiences in which children take an active part. Teachers and children ask questions, plan and reflect together.

Tools such as KWL invite children to consider what they know, what they want to know and what they have learned.
