During the summer programme at Wanisa Rangsit School, children enjoyed learning English through activities inspired by Songkran while discovering local Thai culture.

Water became a way to build connections and help children experience the traditions of Songkran. Alongside their language learning, they explored the meaning of this long-established celebration.

Bathing Buddha images expressed wishes for an auspicious and happy beginning to the Thai New Year.

Pouring water over the hands of elders to ask for blessings offered children a way to show gratitude. Mutual respect and appreciation for those who care for us were at the heart of the activities.

These experiences celebrated Songkran as a valued part of Thai cultural heritage, passed down through generations.
