Messy play was described in this school story as a familiar part of life at Kongfa Wattanawit School (formerly Wanisa Rangsit). Through the five senses, children explored their imagination and discovered new ideas while having fun. The original story celebrated the everyday opportunities children had to explore and get messy at school.

For many adults, getting messy may not sound appealing. At Kongfa, messy play with clear ground rules was designed to help children learn, experiment, touch and encounter something new. These experiences made room for imagination and encouraged children to try things in appropriate ways.

The original story reflects the school belief that children are always ready to develop. Meeting new materials and experiences encourages them to think, wonder and take action: foundations for a love of learning from an early age.
